The one thing which hasn’t changed is, that Westminster still does not
heed the voice of Scotland.
Despite the recent turmoil within the SNP, (which is now behind us), the
SNP Government has shown continuous commitment to Scotland and
her people.
The record in Government has been remarkable – indeed, there are too
many to mention here – see below for examples are:
best preforming A+E departments in UK
free tuition (currently £28,605 in England under Labour)
introduction of Baby boxes
investment in NHS - record high funding of £19.5 billion
protection from bedroom tax
13 000 affordable house delivered with more to come
expansion of early years and childcare with 1140 hours for every 3yr,
4yr and eligible 2yr old
increased carers allowance
introduced Scotland’s new Social Security System, driven by dignity
and respect
Scottish Child Payment – almost £27 per week
Free bus travel for over 60 year olds and under 22 year olds
protection from bedroom tax
The List Goes on.....
Not only are these are remarkable achievements in and of themselves, but remarkable as they are achieved with the limited powers available to Scottish Government and despite the barriers maintained by Westminster government, that we didn’t elect, which seek to undermine the ability and achievements of the government we have elected here in Scotland.
The Brexit Britain is now a broken Britain.
